South Australian lifejacket laws are changing to help keep our community safe when enjoying our states waterways
In the 2017/18 financial year, the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure spent $1.3 million upgrading various navigation beacons around the State.
As boaters across the state head to the waters this boating season, they are urged to ensure they carry suitable safety equipment and wear a lifejacket on the water.
Boaters are reminded to check their safety equipment, registration and licensing.
