The South Australian Government has taken ownership of the Wirrina Cove Marina.

The South Australian Government has taken ownership of the Wirrina Cove Marina, located approximately 90km south of the Adelaide CBD, from 2pm on Monday, 30 March, 2020.

From the morning of Tuesday, 31 March, staff from the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure will be on site and will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the marina.

These staff will not be making fuel available from the marina and will not be collecting public boat ramp fees.

All berthing facilities will continue to operate and the boat ramp is open for public use.

DPTI asks that berth holders and boat ramp users remain patient as next steps for the short and longer term management of the marina are worked through.

DPTI is committed to ensuring the facility continues to operate safety and efficiently and will communicate future plans as they are confirmed.
